The Coach Insignia honors our family's tradition of craftsmanship, first represented in fine automobiles of the 20th century with Body by Fisher and now in Fisher Vineyards' wines of the 21st century.
The Coach Insignia Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of the finest selected lots of Bordeaux varietals from our Calistoga Estate. Nestled at the foot of The Palisades mountain range, these vines grow on an alluvial fan that slopes gently west, following Simmons Creek to the Napa River. The Estate’s well drained soils are remarkably consistent, comprised primarily of cobblestones and loam.

This 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is richly-hued, opaque and dark garnet in color. Aromas of black cherry, tobacco leaf and cedar leap from the glass. Massive on the palate, this wine is built to last with solid tannin structure and great linear progression. Initial flavors of black cherry, ripe blueberry, bramble blackberry and dark plum progress to reveal spices including cardamom and a hint of cinnamon, culminating with a long lingering finish dominated by red berry fruit and rose petal. Striking the ideal balance of strength and finesse, 2009 Coach Insignia offers immediate satisfaction along with the structure to age gracefully for many years ahead!
